HRH The Prince of Wales Trust has kindly awarded us £2500.00 towards our horticulture programme in Armagh.
Garfield Weston £25,000.00 award
Henry Smith Charity: The Foundation has been awarded a grant of £65,000 over the next three years to assist with our running costs.
Mercy Sisters: The order has given us a grant of £4000 towards the expenses of our weekly art therapy classes
Enkalon Foundation: we received an award of £1000 towards the costs of our up coming carers weekend
Activities
We have recently started a picture framing class which is held each Monday morning 11:30-2:00pm
Surestart are now leasing our large hall for three mornings a week to deliver an early years programme to 12 children.
Road shows
We held roadshows in Dromore, Lurgan and Moy on the theme My Injured Brain
Supporting others
Member Aidan Creamer is just back from two weeks volunteering in Kenya where he helped to build a school and is pictured here with some of our other survivors.
BIFFER’S FACELIFT
Members have been working hard to bring even more life to BIFFER’s. We have Our Family Tree with our ever growing members and also Our Music Corner painted by our very own talented Andrew Smyth and his mum Maureen. A big thank you to the time and effort that went into this project.
